THE TOP 5 PURPLE CANNABIS STRAINS

Purple Cannabis Strains

Purple strains of cannabis are extremely popular. Why? They look beautiful for one thing. But they also deliver the goods when it comes to performance. Here is a list of our top five favourites. Have you tried them all?
Purple cannabis is just one of those things. Such oddly pigmented strains have long been favoured by connoisseurs. Now, they are breaking into the mainstream as commercial producers begin to cultivate them with greater frequency.Yes, they look cool. But they also tend to sustain other characteristics that (mostly) come from indicas. These days, the purple strains available in many seed shops are actually hybrids. Most are also very potent from a THC perspective.

By the way, the purple effect derives from a particular photochemical process. This is not unique to cannabis. Pigment molecules called anthocyanins give plants their purple, blue, and red colours. Exposing cannabis to cold temperatures will spur additional production of these molecules. This will then turn the leaves, buds, and stems purple.

Not all cannabis can turn purple, even when exposed to extreme temperatures (which is not recommended in the first place). Such colour traits have to be genetically present in the strain to begin with. Further, stressing plants for any reason is not the path to an optimal yield.Today’s quality Purple is not exposed to the stress of cold to create a unique colour. LED grow lights can help bring out intriguing hues of cannabis plants without exposing them to chilly temperatures. So can the right nutritional strategy. It very much starts with the selection of the right strains and seeds in the first place.

This is our list of the top five Purple strains. Have you tried them all yet?

PURPLE 1

Purple 1 - Dutch Passion

Purple 1 is one of the strongest purple strains currently on the market. It is also a 50/50 sativa/indica mix. Originally hailing from Afghani purple indica stock, it was bred in Europe with local sativas. It has become a fast-finishing strain capable of handling European winters. Its 11-12% THC content gives it a subtle punch. The sativa side, however, creates an upbeat, energetic high. This strain has a mild and smooth taste and aroma, with a fruity aftertaste. It is also a sturdy plant with high mould-resistance. Most of the flowers turn purple by harvest time. Plants can reach upwards of 2.5 metres.

AUTO PURPLE

Auto Purple - Pyramid Seeds

Auto Purple is one likeable plant. A cross between ruderalis and Purple, this is another hybrid strain. In fact, it is 65% sativa.

That said, this strain performs like the hybrid it was bred to be. The plant stays at a manageable height of at most 1.2 metres. It performs beautifully with ScrOG planting techniques. Plants reach maturity within 8-10 weeks post-germination. The THC levels range between 9-15%. CBD concentration is also fairly high, making this a prime medical strain.

AYAHUASCA PURPLE

Ayahuasca Purple - Barneys Farm

Ayahuasca Purple is a cross of Master Kush and Red River Delta. Perhaps it was the exotic locale of these plants that led to its name. Nobody knows. What is clearly evident, however, is that this Afghani-Vietnamese hybrid strain delivers. This fascinating and really beautiful Purple strain is all indica. The plant itself is compact with a maximum height of 1 metre. It also reaches full maturity fast – between 55-65 days. The yield is also heavy. Plants can boast as much as 650g/m². On top of this, the THC content is a whopping 21%. CBD levels are relatively high at 1.4%.

And the aroma? Hazelnut and papaya are the primary flavours and influences. What is not to love?

PURPLE AFGHAN KUSH

Purple Afghan Kush - Dinafem

Purple Afghan Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid crossed from two other well-known strains. Purple Kush is one of them. This is already a good start. Purple Kush is one of the top 10 most powerful strains on the planet, at least according to High Times. It was crossed with Pre-’98 Bubba Kush, an almost pure indica with citrusy flavours and a strong stone.
The result of this pedigree is a fruity, pineapple flavoured smoke rich in THC. Indoor yields are fast to produce (60 days). A well-tended plant outside can yield between 600-800 grams per plant!

Be warned though. This is absolutely couch-lock territory.

BLUEBERRY AUTOMATIC

Blueberry Automatic - Zamnesia Seeds

Blueberry Automatic is another Purple strain that is hard to go wrong with. This cross between Blueberry and ruderalis delivers a flavourful, potent package. It is also a great plant for beginners.

This strain is a hybrid of ruderalis, indica, and sativa. That said, it tends to display the physical characteristics of an indica. The plant grows no higher than 75cm. It takes between 8-9 weeks to harvest. Yields are also fairly high indoors, ranging between 425-475g/m². This is one agreeable, autoflowering hybrid to grow. The aroma smells of sweet berries with hints of lemon. The flavour is indeed reminiscent of blueberries. And the smoke itself is smooth and enjoyable. Yes, you will end up with couch-lock. But you will enjoy the ride.

Are Psychedelics the door to Deeper Consciousness?

in Home/Mind and Spirit/Psychedelics by

Delve into the mystical world of psychedelics! Can they lead to a deeper understanding of human consciousness? Or are they just a quick fix?
Psychedelics are not to be taken lightly, I say this meaning that they should not be abused as a recreational substance, but they should also not be taken thoughtlessly to achieve an easy road to enlightenment. If you ever decide that psychedelics are right for you then great, but just know that they can change your perspective of the world and really open your mind to a new way of thinking.
They can also make you face yourself and your daemons and this is why when people are in a bad setting or a bad place mentally they can have a pretty bad time.

<img src=”https://www.sociedelic.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/tumblr_kve00nC11d1qasxd5o1_1280.jpg” alt=”tumblr_kve00nC11d1qasxd5o1_1280″ />

With that being said, as with most types of growth you will usually have to face some of your past pains to move forward, the difference with psychedelics is that they can force you to face an entire life’s worth of pain in an hour and this can be tough. They can also make you face all the good and everything else in between and this is why they are often called trips because they are an adventure to a place which is hard if not impossible to access without them.Meditation is the nearest thing to a psychedelic experience that I have had (without taking a substance), but while some of these experiences have been powerful they are different and do not come close to the intensity of psychedelics.Psychedelics are mostly schedule 1 drugs. Which just goes to show how misunderstood they really are. Psychedelics have been used cross culturally throughout history and it is only in the last few decades that western politics have decided to wage war of them.Drugs like alcohol, caffeine and tobacco are almost idolized in some western culture- yet they cause more death and destruction than any schedule 1 drug we have. Pharmaceuticals are handed out like sweets by our doctors yet the companies that produce them have been shown to lie repeatedly and endanger our health without any consequence.

Psychedelics on the other hand are unstudied or at least the studies attempted have been shut down by government officials. Yet they have been held up by mainstream media and ridiculed as nothing but a quick high.Psychedelics are not the same thing that mainstream media have represented them to be and to have a substance outlawed based on total hearsay with no scientific evidence to back it up, is not just oppression on our minds, but an all-out war on our consciousness.I was going to share the person jumping out of a window story you always when the topic of psychedelics is brought up but Terence Mckenna puts it so much better than I could-

Psychedelics along with many other unstudied and misunderstood drugs are portrayed as mind numbing and dangerous to our minds, but are they really?

Can psychedelics impact us in a positive way? Do psychedelics improve us intellectually? Do they open our minds to a deeper level of thinking? Can they help us to solve the unsolvable problems that plague us? What about creativity, intuition, kindness, compassion and love do they help us in the right settings to open us up to more of these experiences?

You have to ask yourself- is there a hidden agenda, are psychedelics illegal because our government wants to protect us? Or are they illegal because they are misunderstood? Or are they illegal because they don’t want their confirmative society of consumers to wake up and start questioning agendas?

This short video explores some of the questions I have asked and talks in depth about psychedelics and the impact they can have on your mind and consciousness. If you want to skip people sharing their experience go to 2:55 in the video. Although if you have had a psychedelic experience you may be able to relate to what they say.

I will be the first person to admit that in the wrong hands, with the wrong intentions, with the wrong guidance or in the wrong settings psychedelics can be dangerous. But they need to be studied so that we can get a fuller understanding of the effects that they have. People have a right to the correct information and the whole time we are being fed misinformation, it is an injustice to our human rights.Psychedelics should be studied properly and then be made available so that people can take them in a safe setting around people who understand these substances. People have the right to make up their own minds and these medicinal substances cannot stay secret for much longer!

CAN DMT CAUSE AN OUTER BODY EXPERIENCE?

CAN DMT CAUSE AN OUTER BODY EXPERIENCE?

DMT Outer Body Experience

Out of body experiences, abbreviated to OOBE, is a phenomenon achievable by anyone with some practice. Many prefer to call it “astral projection.” To some people, it happens naturally. For most, practice makes perfect. Astral projection was once thought to be a sign of mental disorder in the West, while in other cultures, it was the way of the shaman. Today, we know it to be a perfectly normal and natural occurrence that does not cause any harm whatsoever.

DMT, which stands for Dimethyltryptamine, is also affectionately called the “Spirit Molecule.” It is considered to be the most potent of psychedelics known to man. Humans produce it naturally in the pineal gland in our brain – or so it is theorised. It is also present in dozens of plants. Shaman in Peru prepare an unimaginably complex psychedelic broth containing high concentrations of DMT, called ayahuasca. This ancient forest brew baffles ethnobotanists the world over.

So, out of body experiences and DMT; are these two related? As you start to delve into the mysterious realm of spirits and dreams, you will soon find there is a common denominator.

WHAT IS AN OOBE

What Is An OOBE

An OOBE is simple to explain, but very tricky to perform. The definition comes from thousands of reports from people around the globe. It is not hocus-pocus at all. With an ever-growing body of knowledge on the subject, we are now starting to see some consensus and standardisation of methodologies on how to achieve one.

Some people experience it naturally, while the vast majority have never experienced one or even heard of such a thing. 100 years ago, psychiatrists jumped straight to some very wrong conclusions, regarding OOBE-stories as a red flag when discussing mental health. Thankfully, with the advent of the internet, people started finding each other and by force of numbers, showed the world the existence and validity of this unusual practice.

OOBE involves leaving your physical body behind and being able to explore the world surrounding you, even travelling long distances. Some people call the travelling entity “energy,” while others call it the “soul.” Some prefer calling the experience astral projection; others theorise it is the same mechanism implied in “remote viewing” (seeking impressions of people, places or things outside of one’s sensory reach). No matter what you prefer to call it, it is evident something special is going on here.

An OOBE is not the same as lucid dreaming. In a lucid dream, you take control of it by becoming aware and manipulating the dream world as you wish. It too requires some practice, but anyone can do it. An OOBE, on the other hand, is leaving your physical body behind to explore the physical world. Some extraordinary things have been reported and confirmed. People have been able to go the other side of the planet and retrieve knowledge otherwise impossible to know.

Scientific literature is full of accounts of patients who suffered a near death experience (NDE), reporting detailed descriptions of their surroundings while in an OOBE state. Even people who were under heavy anaesthetics in operating rooms have been able to fully describe, in visual detail, the intriguing events that occurred during their supposedly sedated state. Some patients were even able to describe what was going on in the room next door! All seem to have one commonality – they all described what they see from a floating position and are able to view their bodies from afar.

A LOOK AT THE PINEAL GLAND

A Look At The Pineal Gland

Now if this was not strange enough, brace yourselves for this next one. Inside our brains, just about in the middle, exists a tiny organ of which we know very little about. It is called the pineal gland, and we are not entirely sure what its purpose is. We do know that it secretes melatoninfrom serotonin to regulate our sleep/wake cycle. It is also often referred to as our “third eye.”

In virtually all cultures on earth, there is some reference to the third eye; the religious or mystical concept of an invisible eye right behind the forehead, giving us special powers to access the future and speak to gods and spirits. The Hindus define it as the gateway to a deep inner realm while the Taoists claim it as an energy centre used to fine tune our consciousness to the vibrations of the universe.

Interestingly enough, in some amphibians and reptiles, the phylogenetic cousin of our pineal gland is, in fact, a pineal or parietal eye, which is light sensitive. From sharks to salamanders, lampreys and tunas, thousands of species sense light with it. The tuatara lizard even has a small lens and retina in the pineal eye.

How our ancient ancestors knew about our third eye pineal gland is mind-boggling. The most recent theories point to the pineal gland as the place where we produce DMT. DMT is at its highest concentration when we are born, when we die, and when we are dreaming. So can a near death experience cause a sudden boost of DMT in the brain, possibly triggering an OOBE?

HOW DOES DMT AFFECT THE BODY?

DMT is not orally active, which is why ayahuasca is such an intriguing mystery. How did South American tribesmen learn to combine monoamine oxidase inhibitors to permit DMT to become orally active in our body? With such a vast quantity of plant species, without knowledge of chemistry or biology, out of thousands of possible combinations … it is truly a mystery.

Modern techniques involve extracting DMT directly into crystal form and smoking it. The two methods affect us very differently. By taking ayahuasca in crystal form, you embark on quite the tempestuous journey. Before the soul cleansing happens for 4-8 hours, you are very likely to experience vomiting, dizziness and diarrhoea. The soul cleansing itself can cause very profound and life changing revelations.

Smoked DMT has an almost immediate onset of psychedelia, but only lasts for 5-10 minutes. When you get back from the realms of beyond, it is just like waking from a long, restful sleep. It can be equally intense, but the duration probably hinders more serious inner-exploration and soul cleansing. It can be quite a profound experience nonetheless.

In either case, you feel a detachment from your physical body – as if you are getting pulled out from your physical state and shot into a different dimension of existence where the conventional laws of physics cease to apply. Humans are not nearly equipped with the language to describe it. Your understanding of the fabrics that constitute the universe is unparalleled.

How exactly DMT interacts with the body is a question that still needs a satisfactory answer. We have only just started studying it, and have many more questions than answers.

CAN DMT CAUSE AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE?

Can DMT Cause An Out Of Body Experience?

Pragmatically, we will have to say no. Entheogenically speaking, yes, without a doubt.

DMT is a chemical. An endogenous compound to us; nevertheless, to access its toolset we need to ingest or smoke it. Taking DMT will yank you out of your body, as previously described. You will navigate through spaces not accessible in the physical world. So you do leave your body behind to explore higher dimensions. When you take DMT, your physical body stays lying down while your mind explores the cosmos. So in a way, you do have an “out of body experience.”

But an OOBE in itself is a qualitatively very different thing. It is not a psychedelic experience at all. It is entirely tied to the physical world we all share. In an OOBE, your physical body lies still too. When you leave your body, gravity still exists. You enter an interdimensional state where experiences of reality can be shared and verified. Sometimes you may encounter other energies (or souls?) around you, but not in a kaleidoscopic or multidimensional way. Your energy, soul or spirit wanders about the physical world.

An OOBE is an absolutely natural thing that requires no chemicals or special gadgetry. While there are some tricks that some people employ, like binaural beat tones or isochronic waves, strobe lights and special meditation methods – it is something that appears to be achievable by all without extra tools.

A seasoned psychonaut will recognise the familiarity between OOBE, DMT, lucid dreaming, even holotropic breathwork and vipassana – to name a few. There is a sense of familiarity, relationship, and synergy even. They are connected somehow. As our species slowly evolves into higher states of consciousness, it is our duty to recognise that everything is connected. Modalities of perception are not to be dismissed merely because they are new or frightening – or because we are still unable to completely describe them. Until then, all we can do is openly embrace, learn and grow from them.

The 9 Personalities Which Are Changing The World

in Home/Mind and Spirit by

Nine distinct personality types make humanity very special, not only in their interactions with each other, but within themselves. Synchronicity ties them all together in a beautiful system that makes everything work. No human being is ever represented by just one of these personality types, but rather a mixture of several. And while the western mindset focuses on happy moments as the ideal, it is unaware that each piece of the puzzle, each with its flaws, is integral in the spiritual evolution of humanity. Everything is shifting and changing so quickly and each of these segments is playing a critical role in human consciousness.

9 Personality Types – Do You See Yourself?

1) THE INITIATOR

Regardless of the initiative, these are the doers of our world. Being the number of ‘new’ in which all manifestation begins, they symbolize the principle of beginning or initiation through purity of purpose. It is the energy that begins all actions and leads the way in new directions. Without them, we would have a lot of trouble getting things done because when nobody else wants to do it, they step up and get it done with courage, originality and decisiveness. Their drive makes them magnificent manifestors and they require the support to keep them going. They do not tolerate laziness from the people within their circles, and they don’t like to ask for help from others. The Initiator is somebody we all depend on for monumental achievements because they are masters at self-sufficiency, invention, focus and rationality.

Key Strengths:
– Creators and primal force of consciousness and grand movements.
– Do not see an end to their journey and goals (retirement does not exist)
– The most powerful Initiators are those who awaken to their purpose to serve rather than rule (because they also make great rulers).
– Always at the forefront of directing and leading others
– Trust in their own ability to separate right from wrong regardless of what they are told.
– Often mentally stronger than most other people
– Live and breathe what they think they need to do and nothing will stop them from doing it.
– Generally optimistic people who have a great deal of inner strength and are often a source of inspiration to others.
– Self-motivated, striving for progress, with ambitious will, power and positivity.
– Pioneers with leadership qualities that attract many followers.
– Have an initiative, instinct and intuition that makes it all self-perpetuating.

2) THE HEALER

Since the Initiators often drive themselves into physical illness through their constant drive to keep moving forward, the healers are necessary to help bring balance back to their physical health. It is a feminine energy that dominates the healer, but many men exhibit very strong healing energies. They symbolize the principle of coming together with another, positive/negative, male/female, day/night, black/white, yin/yang. They unite like-minds, and like-ideals. Above all, life must have meaning for Healers. Their intuitive sense is very strong and among the strongest of all personality types. They reflect a quiet power in the natural flow of judgement, and the need for planning and communication to do what is best for our souls. A healer’s strength and power is resilient and lasting and are some of the greatest powers hiding behind the throne. Some of the greatest men and women to ever walk the Earth (especially Initiators) had a healer as their partner or confidant by their side. They are extremely effective at bringing peace, harmony and balance to many different experiences, and they do it with tolerance, patience, co-operation and sensitivity — particularly to the needs of others. They are more likely to suffer in silence if they cannot get people within their close relationships to understand what the problem is between them.

Key Strengths:
– Skilled mediators exemplifying very high levels of compassion and empathy
– Their intuitive prowess is the highest of all personality types
– Eternally optimistic that the world is going to get better and that everyone will live in peace and harmony.
– Cooperate well with others in order to maintain harmony in their own lives.
– Avoid conflict and confrontation and instead see the big picture
– Tend to be selfless and focused on the greater good
– Concerned about seeing that everyone has the opportunity to develop their full potential.
– Want to be accepted for who they are and strive to maintain a job where that may be expressed
– Promote personal growth of themselves and others
– Exceptional nurturers and will always ensure that children are raised in a warm and loving environment, even at the expense of their own comfort

3) THE CATALYST

The Catalysts of the world have the unique gift of changing people and circumstances with consistency and creativity at all times. They are the meditators of the planet who allow others to tap into their energy. It is a vibrational state that is very stable throughout human consciousness and not necessarily of the stereotypical meditator with closed eyes in lotus position. The meditators may be one who can achieve the same energy while dancing, painting, crafting or using any artistry skill that enables them to achieve the vibration. When Initiators and Healers become frustrated, they look to the Catalysts for assistance on a quantum level. None of them may understand what they are doing for the other, but whatever comes the way of the Catalysts, becomes more peaceful because of them. When the Initiators and Healers unite, they often need the synthesis of the Catalyst to put all that energy into effective action. Those who exhibit Catalyst energy are enlivening, youthful and enthusiastic with their talents spread through communications of all kinds. They are masters are harmonizing energies with their emotions. Their energy does not work well with structure, plans or routines because of their ability to move out of linear thought. Catalysts are capable of very deep love, intuition and even psychic gifts and emotions, and this needs to be admired and loved by others.

Key Strengths:
– Carry the strong seed programming as ascended masters
– Can help anybody find peace, clarity, and love within
– Able to cope with life’s ups and downs and will not be disheartened for long by any setbacks.
– Many are truly gifted musicians, writers, dancers, and public speakers
– Broad-minded thinking, synthesis and triad
– Enthusiasm, youthfulness and enlivenment
– Great communicators and often have a brilliant command of language.
– Feel the need to inspire and beautify the world with their natural capabilities to take anything they have and create something beautiful from it.
– Encourage rather than discourage and always find solutions rather than problems

4) THE PROTECTOR

Before there was technology of any kind there was Gaia. Most modern day humans have lost this connection. Many “Protectors” are not aware they are light workers, but they do know they are connected to Gaia consciousness. They are the tree huggers, environmentalists, gardeners, animal whisperers, and all lovers of nature. Some ignore their own dietary requirements for energy and instead sacrifice those needs for their truth and love of Gaia. They love the Earth and Mother Nature for all she is and what she provides, and that passion never leaves them for the rest of their lives. They are born with it, infused at birth with a love for all that is Gaia. They are trustworthy, patient, conventional and traditionalists, yet seek security and ‘home’ as their haven. Protectors are extremely loyal to their cause, hardworking and security-conscious, with high values and morals. Their vibration needs disciplined harmony, dependability and responsibility in their lives. They are dependable, serious-minded individuals who need to be practical about all that they do. They have strong opinions and beliefs about what is right and necessary even if their perspective conflicts with the masses.

Key Strengths:
– Works steadily and can be very persistent.
– Finds great satisfaction in accomplishments with physical labor, especially on the land and favors results over financial reward or public recognition.
– Believes in effort and control, and is certainly goal-oriented, but goals are simple and down to earth.
– Doesn’t like to make waves, but values moral convictions and will not back down when convinced that they are doing “the right thing.” (also causes extreme intolerance in Protectors who cannot appreciate other perspectives)
– Long-term commitment is likely to be a priority since they are faithful and dependable.
– Very career-minded and are highly ambitious in this area
– Thought, consideration and contemplation goes into just about every decision or move they make
– Build a solid foundation for the self and others, and making sure that all is safe and secure.

5) THE GAME CHANGER

Game changers have the greatest number of old souls out of all personality types. They anchor all others and are extremely independent in mind and soul. They are multi-talented and with many interests. They are attractive, independent, free-thinking, fast moving, and potentially foot-loose. They are often very sexual beings. They are resenting restrictions and responsibilities while carrying instabilities and unpredictability. They draw our attention to the wonder of life, and it beckons us to appreciate the perception of chaos all around us. So why are they the game changers? Because they walk and spread compassionate action anchoring all others. They go about their lives without building a website, writing a book, talking on stage, but rather walk their talk before doing anything else. How they treat others is their strength in changing the planet. They have an uncompromising demand for freedom in thought and action.

Key Strengths:

– Practice the principle of multiplicity, progression and passion and symbolize the need for change, variety and new growth
– Broadcast and disseminate information like no other
– Very pragmatic and opportunistic and can be very, very persuasive.
– Intellectual, versatile, investigative and imaginative.
– Great flexibility and this allows them to stop something and go off in an entirely different direction.

– Highly inquisitive individuals who consider hands on experience to be the best teacher in life.
– Deeply intelligent, philosophical and spiritually-minded.

6) THE NURTURER

The Nurturer represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth. They are considered the most “harmonious” of all personality types. Creating an environment of peace and harmony is always the strongest impulse. They “light” our path in areas where we require spiritual and mental balance. They beckon us to administer compassion and consciously choose forgiveness in a situation. They are the mothers of the world. They are about sacrificing, caring, healing, protecting and teaching others. No family or community can function without the power of the Nurturer to keep them together and safe. They are the glue that keeps a family or community together. They are full of sympathy, and their sense of justice is well developed. So much in fact that when they perceive injustice, they will sacrifice all their time and effort to set things straight. They are right fighters of peace and harmonious integration. Unfortunately they often fall prey to forms of jealousy and small-mindedness, tending to be more focused on the minor details and self-righteousness while ignoring the bigger picture. Despite this, the Nurturer is actually the most harmonious and stable among the nine personality types.

Key Strengths:
– Symbolizes responsibility and service which they achieve through love, nurturing and protection.
– Innate desire within to bring harmony, peace, justice and truth to all experiences in life.
– Derive their greatest joy from taking care of everyone else and these people feel most useful when they are fixing things.

– Strong beliefs and opinions about what they feel is the truth
– Within relationship realms, they are loving, supportive, comforting and accommodating, and make for fair, balanced and stable partners.
– Make great hosts as they are welcoming to all and know how to bring a sense of beauty, balance and love to all family occasions and social gatherings and outings.
– Greatest expression of inner Divinity is through teaching and guidance and are happiest when they see the positive results of their influence blossom in other people.

7) THE EXPLORER

Resonate with the vibrations and energies of the ‘Collective Consciousness’, faith and spirituality. They deal with esoteric and scholarly aspects of reality. Focused on activation of imagination and manifesting results in our lives through the use of conscious thought and awareness. They carry what can only be defined as a magical vibration with an underlying understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe. They are secretive, mysterious, stand-offish, intuitive and introspective. They tend to have strong psychic tendencies and are natural healers with a core of inner-strength. They are visionaries, seekers, thinkers and searchers of Truth always trying to understand the underlying, hidden truths. What are termed as conspiracy theorists are some of the greatest Explorers on the planet. Many are interested in the metaphysical, not because they are believers, but because it allows access to the ambiguous, abstract world of questions for which there are no clear answers. They are often spiritual, but not religious and will never stop seeking answers about who they are and why they are here. . Money means nothing to them and will never make a choice or a decision based on an expected financial outcome. Most are not warriors but analysts or strategic planners. More often, however, you will find them in the world of academics and science.

Key Strengths:
– Some of the greatest thinkers and are often very perspective and intuitive.
– Have a love of natural beauty, and flourish when they spend time in natural surroundings, away from civilization.
– Outstanding ability to heal people on the spiritual, emotional and physical levels (work well with Healers).
– Able to intuitively tune into the emotions and needs of others.
– Investigator and inventor whose energy shines in solitude.
– Demand a lot of themselves and others due to their extremely high standards
– Have a love of natural beauty such as flowers, plants, oceans, seas and lakes

– Knowledge and wisdom are their goals and their quick intelligence and inquiring mind leads them to gather many sources of information simultaneously like no other. They are masters at sourcing knowledge.
8) THE EQUALIZER

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all personality types. When the Karmic equalizer comes knocking, you can be assured that you will reap what you’ve sown. They are practical, realistic and intelligent. They exhibit vibrations of authority and personal power, self-confidence, executive ability, inner-strength, professionalism, management, material freedom, success, good judgement, money. They know the difference between make-believe and genuine spiritual realizations. They are more comfortable in the realm of material, tangible facts, and will be truly exceptional as soon as they develop their spiritual connection and natural intuition. On the material plane, they are focused on results, often in the form of money, yet do not care much about money for the sake of money. They are not greedy and only see money as a tool, not an end-result. Some of the more recognizable traits of the Equalizer are drive, ambition, authority, efficiency, organization, management, discipline and control. They are goal-oriented, focused, have good judgment, can discriminate and are practical and realists. They are closely related to the Initiators and have strong leadership skills, never shying away from a confrontation. They tend to do well in business and in authority roles. The lessons of this path are many and varied, but generally have to do with learning to overcome adversity and learning about compassion for others through having faced and survived often horrendous life circumstances and/or situations.

Key Strengths:
– Generally content and sure of themselves.
– They know what they want from life and know how they are going to achieve their goals.

– Self-reliant and independent and do not feel at ease at the mercy of anyone else.
– Support anything that brings beauty, justice, meaning and profit to the world.
– Have an air of success and project an image of being at ease with themselves and their surroundings.

9) THE FINALIZER

Associated with universal love, eternity and faith and the height of vibrational frequencies. They have a wisdom and responsibility, and the ultimate goal of the Finalizer is to serve humanity. They deal with intellectual power, inventiveness, influence over situations and things. They make us recognize our own internal attributes, and extend these abilities out into the world to make a positive, influential difference. This vibration has come to serve the world and make it a better place for all to live in. They work without motive. Their purpose is for the greatest good of all. They have a protective energy and they have great power and love in their soul. They are aware that they have come with a mission that adheres to the principle of Universal Love and compassion. Intuitively, the Finalizer understands the connections between all of mankind. They get the end game. They see no real difference between their neighbor next door and the person living in a very different culture and environment on the other side of the world. They are the least judgmental of all types, the most tolerant and the most conscious. When circumstances require, they can be a powerful force, strong enough to take over and bend others to their will. Yet they are not leaders in the way both the Initiators and Equalizers are. Their leadership qualities are in the higher realms of philosophy and justice. When they are done with you, they will change your mind and you will see their perspective.

Key Strengths:
– Compassion, selflessness and generosity
– Wisdom, intuition and high idealism
– Charitable, benevolent and altruistic.
– Sympathetic understanding of the under-privileged and under-developed
– Share the aspiration and idealism of the more advanced souls
– The dreamer who feels at home in the realm of the arts, medicine, religion, drama, philosophy and metaphysics.
– Healer and educator, acting always for the benefit of others.
– Looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive and creative worlds
– Takes care of everyone else, but needs to learn to speak up when they themselves need help, love and support.

Each of the above are beautifully intertwined, masterfully integrated and perfectly synchronized in millions of people around the world. Each is playing a role in how we integrate the coming waves of energy into human and universal consciousness. All are beautiful and exactly as they should be, so whichever resonates with you, know that they all exist within you.

Psychedelic Optical Illusions

Our minds are limited, our senses are limited, but we tend to trust both blindly. Below you can find a gallery of Psychedelic Optical Illusions that will expose those limits! Come and test your limits !!! And there’s a bonus at the bottom !!!

What is an Optical Illusion?

“An illusion caused by the visual system and characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. The information gathered by the eye is processed in the brain to give a percept that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source.”

[AN OPTICAL ILLUSION IS AN] ILLUSION CAUSED BY THE VISUAL SYSTEM AND CHARACTERIZED BY VISUALLY PERCEIVED IMAGES THAT DIFFER FROM OBJECTIVE REALITY.

“There are three main types: literal optical illusions that create images that are different from the objects that make them, physiological illusions that are the effects of excessive stimulation of a specific type (brightness, colour, size, position, tilt, movement), and cognitive illusions, the result of unconscious inferences. Pathological visual illusions arise from a pathological exaggeration in physiological visual perception mechanisms causing the aforementioned types of illusions.”

Why Do We Dream?

[Watch] Why Do We Dream?

Why Do We Dream? In this enlightening short film, Vsauce founder Michael Stevens embarks on an in-depth investigation into the reasons as to why we dream. Dreams have only just recently earned a genuine interest among the scientific community in the past century and as a result, they have remained shrouded in much mystery.

As he combs through the history of Oneirology, the study of dreams, Stevens pieces together the timeline of understanding of this phenomena and explores everything we have come to know thus far. Taking a look at everything from rate of occurrence and brain activity to purpose and meaning, this carefully formulated explanation offers some compelling insight for those curious about this fascinating faculty of the mind.

Unlocking Your Love

in Home/Mind and Spirit by

“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.” ~ Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
“Ordinary love is selfish, darkly rooted in desires & satisfactions. Divine love is without condition, without boundary, without change. The flux of the human heart is gone forever at the transfixing touch of pure love’. He [Sri Yukteswar] added humbly. ‘If ever you find me falling from a state of God-realization, please promise to put my head on your lap and help to bring me back to the Cosmic Beloved we both worship’”. ~ Paramahansa Yogananda, Autobiography of a Yogi p.90

Human love is the beginning of our life-long journey toward the experience of the Cosmic Beloved. When we begin in this world, our hearts only know love. We are innocent, and our karma has yet to rear its head. Over time, our hearts become jaded, angry, lost, frustrated, hurt. We ‘fall’ away from the Divine Mother that holds us to her bosom, the ‘Cosmic Beloved’ that nurtures us so completely that we remember we ARE love. In a sense, our hearts are locked, and the key has been given to someone ‘out there’ who we believe will save us from our dragons. We’re so wrong to do this, but also so right.

Human Love is Imperfect
You see, human love is flawed. It is messy. It requires humbling, trial and error. We wear masks that we think others in this grand play will adore, or covet, or shrink from in some cases. Rarely do we show ourselves as we truly are, which is bare-ass naked, and vulnerable, helpless, and completely loved and loveable. Our humanity feels more nude than a Michelangelo sculpture come alive.

Then, when we sit before others, we don’t really offer our love or our presence, we try to fix them. It’s a damned good trap, and we’ve all fallen into it at least once before if we aren’t doing it right now.

Instead of giving our mindful presence, we judge, condemn and intellectualize how they are making a huge blunder, instead of just observing them learn from their own mistakes as we have, like a mother watching her child fall taking their first steps. That kind of love is rare.

Open Your Heart
So how do you offer unconditional love, and unlock your heart? There are very concrete ways to do this, and it all starts with breathing.

When we breathe, we take the focus of the selfish, intellectual brain, into the chest. As our lungs fill, our heart chakra opens more fully so that we can see others with our hearts instead of our minds. Our hearts are, in fact, much smarter than our brains anyhow. It’s electromagnetic field is up to 5,000 times stronger than the brain and it also has 40,000 sensory neurons taking in information from those around you and relaying it to your brain. AND activity in your heart can be measured in someone else’s brain via EKG equipment.

You can also spend time in nature, and absorb as much of the color green as possible. This is the color, or vibration most often associated with the heart chakra. If you like, you can even invoke a Goddess known to resonate with the heart’s vibratory pattern by saying the Saraswati mantra. Saraswati is just one incarnation of the Divine Mother, or unconditional love.

You can also do absolutely nothing. According to one of my often referenced yoga teachers, Satyananda, the Anahata [heart] chakra is concerned with will, feeling, touch and the skin, especially of the hands, all manifesting in arts such as painting, poetry and music, which, he says, are all aspects of heart energy. Anahata chakra is the lowest of the three non-earthly or spiritual chakras – Anahata, Vishuddhi and Ajna. Satyananda also states: “In the present age, at this moment, we, the people of this world, are passing through a phase of Anahata chakra. This means that this chakra is beginning to awaken in us, whether we are working on it or not.

If you still feel compelled to work on the heart to experience more love, you can actively practice compassion by giving to others. This can take many forms. You can give monetarily, emotionally, or even spiritually by just holding someone in a loving place in your mind – even if that someone is just you.

Finally, you can laugh at this ridiculous ‘earth’ play. The heart loves laughter and this will allow you to love in ways you never imagined. It breaks down walls and misconceptions like nothing else. Some even think laughter is the ‘secret’ love that holds relationships together. It turns out that humbling, ego-crushing laughter is the best.

“Many studies show that a sense of humor is sexually attractive, especially to women, but we’ve found that self-deprecating humor is the most attractive of all,” said Gil Greengross, an anthropologist whose findings, ‘Dissing Oneself: The Sexual Attractiveness of Self-Deprecating Humor’, will be published in next month’s EvolutionaryPsychology.”

“Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.” ~Victor Borge

HOW TO SPOT A HIPPIE

HOW TO SPOT A HIPPIE: Here are some Tips!

Hippie Spotting: Here’s your Guide
Hippie’s are the coolest type of people, they don’t have a care in the world, they live-off the grid and are the most fun-loving bunch under the sun. As a bit of fun, here’s a guide to spotting one.

Namaste : The equivalent to saying “Hi Man, what’s Wobblin’?”
Bindis: A representation of the third-eye, but in most cases worn to present the illusion of being against the hierarchies set-up by monopolistic first-world governments.
Lennon Glasses: An external symbol for the Hippie philosophy, “Imagine all the people living life in peace…”
Dreads: Cause nothing screams anti-establishment as hair that doesn’t give a fuck about respectability.
Harmony: The aura of tranquillity drips off their faces, and from the peace emblems placed strategically for easy viewing.
Om: An omnipresent word, always seen hovering close to the members of this species.
Bands: A true hippie is always decked with headbands, wristbands, arm-bands, ankle-bands. Think of it, as fashionable ID tags.
Weed: A staple ‘food.’ Be on the lookout for ‘weed-holsters’. The quick-draw, one-handed roll is a source of constant astonishment for a non-member.
Organic: Wearing grass between the toes is testament to this trait.
